We are expecting the school to be open tomorrow unless any weather updates indicate further problems overnight. Unfortunately, as staff have been unable to get to school today, we have been unable to clear paths and we will need to grit early tomorrow to ensure the site and surrounding area is safe.
We will be open at the usual time but as some of our staff live a fair distance from the school in surrounding villages, it may take some time for them to get to school safely.
We would be very grateful if any parents could help with gritting. Staff will be on site from 7:00am
To allow parents enough time to get their children safely to school, our morning registers will remain open and pupils will not be given a late mark, so please do not rush and take care. Parents have the right to decide whether it is safe to bring their child to school as all our circumstances will be different dependent on where we live.
Please enter via the Town gate entrance as usual or if arriving after 9am please use the Gloucester street entrance.
Please tell your children to take great care when walking to and around school tomorrow. We are happy for them to wear appropriate footwear such as boots or wellies until the snow has melted. Can you please send their school shoes to change into for inside school.
Thank you for your support as always
