Friday 27th March
Good Morning Everyone,

Another sunny morning at the end of a very strange week. Hope you have all done your morning exercise and are now cracking on with some learning. The teachers are busy preparing work for next week and that work should be available by Monday.

I have also asked them all to upload a message to their classes today and I will also send one, so don't forget to look out for them.

Hank's Pranks is funny today so I highly recommend you get a chance to listen to David Walliam's elevenses.

I hope you have managed to watch my assembly and here is the link to the Youtube clip about Resilience

Take care and stay safe and well

Thursday 26th March

Good Morning Everyone,

Hope you are all safe and well. I am really enjoying the David Walliams elevenses  - Trish the Troll today made me think about all of us in school. Do you know a Trish or are you a Trish? No, surely not, as you are all nothing like her and perfect pupils. Not sure about those pesky teachers though!

In school today they are taking part in Science experiments - What substance makes the best bubble and who can make the largest bubble? My bet is Mrs Boune will win but I'll let you know tomorrow. Perhaps you could have a go at home.

Keep up the good learning and exercise. I completed my first cycle ride yesterday and had a long conversation with the sheep. Had to clean my bike first as it was covered in cobwebs, it doesn't get used very often!
Take care everyone and stay safe and well.

Wednesday 25th March

Good Morning Everyone,

I hope you have started the day well and possibly doing a fitness activity to get us up and moving!

I have had my first online conference with some of the headteachers from the Academy schools. You will be pleased to hear that I managed the technology without needing to call Mr Saunders!

In school, Miss Porter has been perfecting her art techniques as they have been painting Easter chicks.

I heard about a fabulous live history lesson from a secret WW2 bunker in Liverpool and Mr Saunders is putting the link on the website now.

At 11 am every day, David Walliams is going to be reading from his books online, so remember to follow the link each day from the main home learning page too.

Keep learning and stay safe and well

Tuesday 24th March

Hi Everyone,

I hope you are all ok and keeping to your daily schedule!
In school, we only have a few children today and they have been busy working on a large picture to share with everyone.

The teachers were busy overnight trying to sort learning into weekly folders which I see has caused some confusion. Mrs Northam has now put instructions on each class pages to help you. Sorry frown

I hope you have a productive day and make sure you are putting some exercise into your day. I am planning to run and jump around the garden today. Take care Mrs F xx

Monday 23rd March 2020

Good Morning Everyone,

What a strange day it is!

The usual Monday morning busy feeling is not there and I am already missing all your smiling faces as you come through the school gate. sad However, the most important thing is that you and your families are safe and well.

We have had a few children and staff in school today helping to support all those critical key workers who are supporting the country by continuing to work. They are not making the same noise in the dining hall and the playground though! They have produced some lovely pictures to spread the love for the community.

I hope you have managed to create a good daily schedule to ensure that you are getting the right balance between work and play.

Enjoy the activities that the teachers have set today and I hope you are helping your parents understand the learning too!

Take care

Mrs F xxx
